Debut single "Memory's Lips" available today

The Melancholy Kings have released their debut single “Memory’s Lips” for download and streaming.

The first single from Melancholy Kings’ eponymous debut album (out August 30, 2019) provides a wry look at the bittersweet emotions of nostalgia and loss. Produced by bassist Scott Selig, Ray Ketchem (Elk City) and singer/guitarist Mike Potenza, recorded and mixed by Ketchem at Magic Door in Montclair, NJ, and featuring guest artists Reneé LoBue (vocals, Elk City) and Richard Burkhardt (cello), the breezy, put-the-top-down melodic musings of "Memory’s Lips" is indicative of the album, which both celebrates and cringes at the rich tapestry of life’s follies in the Land of Springsteen and Honey.
